3 in 1 LO und Halloween Madness :)

Wir haben tatsächlich Oktober. Das bedeutet es ist wieder Kürbis-Zeit :) Also haben ein paar Freunde und ich uns wieder mit Messern bewaffnet und haben ein paar unschuldige Kürbisse geschlachtet. Robert hat mit seinem gleich seine politische Meinung geäußert, aber wir Anderen haben versucht einen Gruseligen zu schnitzen :) Sind doch ganz gut geworden, oder?

It's October. Which means it's pumpkin time :) A few friends and I got together with our knifes and slaughtert some innocent pumpkins. Of course Robert took the chance to show his political fews , but the rest of us tried to carve some scarry faces :) turned out alright didnt they?

Und dann habe ich es in den letzten Tagen sogar geschafft ein LO zu scrappen. Wieder viel Weiss und Pastell, aber das ist zurzeit einfach mein Ding!
Und es passt auch mal wieder hervorragend zu ein paar Challenges :)

And I managed to get a LO done in the last couple of days. Again lots of white and pastel colors, but thats just my thing right now!

Gestern Abend habe ich mal wieder fleissig gescrappt und habe tatsächlich 3 LO's geschafft :)
Ein letztes Hamburg LO und 2 vom Strand...
Dies hier ist für die Dotty Divas Ad Challenge #3 Hier konnte ich mich von einer Starbucks Smoothie Werbung inspirieren lassen und das ist mein Ergebnis:

Das nächste ist mit einem Sketch von 52weeks/52sketches entstanden. Findet Ihr net auch das Chris aussieht als wenn er für Becks Werbung macht???

The next one was done with a sketch by 52weeks/52sketches. Don't ya think the picture of Chris looks like a Becks commercial???

Zu guter Letzt habe ich auch noch ein LO für die aktuelle STM Challenge "Friends Forever" geschafft :)

Last but not least I made a LO for this weeks STM Song "Friends Forever" :)

Hm, irgendwie fällt mir gerade auf, dass ich nur noch weissen Cardstock als Hintergrund verwende. Ist wahrscheinlich nur eine Phase, aber zurzeit gefallen mir diese LO's meist am Besten:)

Hm, I just kind of noticed that I only used white cardstock as backgrounds. Its probably just temporary, but right now I like those LO's best :)

3 kleine Projekte

Hm, ich dachte ich zeige euch heute Abend mal ein paar kleine Mini-Projekte an denen ich in den letzten Tagen gearbeitet habe. Alle 3 habe ich für Freunde von mir zum Nikolaus gescrappt. Ich weiss dass das noch ne Weile hin ist, aber eigentlich kann man für sowas ja doch nie rechtzeitig genug Anfangen :)
Also ich hoffe Sie gefallen euch... Das erste ist ein CD-Mini

Well, today I thought I would show you some mini projects I've been working this past week. All 3 are St. Niclos gifts (Dec. 6th) for friends of mine. I know it's still a while, but I guess you can never start too early for this kind of stuff :)
I hope you like them... The first one is a CD-Mini

Das Zweite ist ein Mini in der Box :) die 55 steht für den 30 Geburtstag von Andre und den 25 Geburtstag von Tina in diesem Frühjahr

The second one is a mini in a box :) the 55 stands for Andre's 30th and Tina's 25th Birthday this spring

Das letzte habe ich aus einer Schleifenrolle gebastelt. Den Deckel habe ich am Ende dann mit Halbperlen beklebt und ich finde es ist mir für den ersten Versuch ganz gut geglückt!

The last one is made out of an old ribbon roll. I glued half-pearls on the selfmade lit and I think it worked out quiet well for being my first go on this technique!

...wir haben offiziell Herbst und ich vermiss trotz des ganzen guten Wetters jetzt schon die langen Tage des Sommers, das in der Sonne sitzen auf meiner Terasse und natürlich unsere Ausflüge zum Strand...
Morgen soll ich aber zumindest zum Teil entschädigt werden! Tina kommt für zwei Tage zu mir und Kati hat uns angeboten einen kleinen "Sushikurs" bei ihr zu machen, freu... Dazu noch ein bissl Prosecco und dann kanns danach auch noch schön zum Feiern gehen :) und Samstag wollen wir zum Drachen steigenlassen- drückt die daumen das wir ein bissl Wind haben, wir sind nämlich absolute Anfänger und brauchen eine paar kräftige Böen damit es überhaupt klappt ;)

Its thursday, its officialy fall and despite the good weather we are having, I am already missing the long days of summer, the sitting in the sun on my balcony and of course our trips to the beach...
I'll have the chance to partly compensate that this week end though! Tina will visit me for two days and Kati kindly offered to let us in into the secrets of making sushi, yay... add a few glasses of wine and off we go partying afterwards :) on top of that we will fly a kite on saturday- press thumbs that we will have some wind, we are total beginners and with out some gust of wind we will look pretty stupid out in the open field ;)

So jetzt gibt es noch schnell ein neues LO von mir. Ich habe im Mai mit ein paar Jungs von Ausserhalb eine kleine Stadttour durch Hamburg gemacht und dabei sind diese Bilder entstanden:

Diesen Frühjahr/ Sommer haben wir fast alle Geburtstage am Strand gefeiert. Lagerfeuer, Grillen, chillige Musik- und wie immer hab ich meinen kleinen Strand Football mitgebracht ;)
Wie die Jungs mit dem Spielen musste natürlich auch mal fetsgehalten werden. Also habe ich daraus gleich mein LO für die STM-Germany Challenge gemacht.

It seems that we celebrated almost every birthday this spring/summer on the beach. Campfire, BBQ, nice music- and of course I always brought my little beach-football ;)
Obviously I had to scrap about the guys playing with it sooner or later. I used the pics to do this weeks STM-Germany challenge.

Das zweite LO das ich heute zeigen möchte, ist auch aus Strandfotos entstanden... Ich hab eben soo so viele Fotos und ich kann mich meist net entscheiden welche ich wirklich verscrappe und welche net- also nehm ich meist alle :) Das LO passt auch ziemlich gut auf die aktuelle Scrapping out Loud Challenge. Hier sollten wir ein Motiv immer wieder benutzen. In meinem Fall Quadrate...

The second LO i want to show you today, is also about our beach fun... I have soo so many pictures about those days and i just can't decide which ones to use- so iam just using all of them :) The LO fits this weeks Scrapping out Loud challenge pretty good. We were suppose to use one motiv again and again. In my case: squares...

und zwar total auf meine Freundin Katharina die ich in nicht mal einer Stunde vom Bahnhof abhole!!! Sie bleibt ein paar Tage bei mir und wir haben nur Mädelskram auf dem Zettel: Dvd's und Prosecco, Shoppen, Gesichtsmasken und natürlich Lästern und Tratschen ;)
Endlich habe ich meine beste Freundin mal wieder ganz für mich alleine. Das gab es seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr...
Bevor ich sie jetzt gleich da ist, poste ich noch schnell ein paar LO's die ich fertig bekommen habe. Das erste ist mit dem Sketch von Capture these Sketches entstanden und zeigt wieder Fotos von unserem Ausflug zum Klettergarten...

Iam so excited!!! My friend Katharina is vistiting me for a couple of days and I will pick her up at the trainstation within the next hour :) We have lots of girly stuff planed: Watching dvd's while drinking prosecco, some shopping, facials and of course gossiping the night away ;)
Finally I have my best friend all for myself again. That hasn't happend for such a long time...
Befor I am going to pick her up, I just wanted to post a few LO's I've done. The first one was done with the latest Capture these sketches sketch and shows pics from our high wire garden adventure again...

Das erste kommt von Kim und läuft noch bis zum 19. September und ist eine schöne Zusammenstellung aus 6x6 Papieren und einem süssen Stempel...

Das nächste ist ein fantastisches Halloween Candy von Kerry. Sie liebt Halloween wie wahrscheinlich die Meisten von uns und hat viele kleine Dinge zusammen gepackt. Unter anderem auch diese schönen Papiere

Zu guter Letzt habe ich noch etwas sehr schönes Rund um die Liebe bei Bianka gefunden :) um diese schönen Dinge zu bekommen müsst Ihr nur mit Eurem Lieblingszitat zum Thema Liebe rausrücken :)

Super, habe gerade mein invincible LO auf den Computer gezogen nur um festzustellen das ich den Titel falsch buchstabiert habe :( Ich hoffe Ihr werdet es mir nachsehen und ich werde heut abend versuchen zu retten was noch zu retten ist ;)
also invincible - unbesiegbar oder auch unverletzbar... hm, eigentlich nicht wirklich ein Wort das zu mir passt! Allerdings sollte man im Klettergarten schon ein bischen leichtsinnig sein um das Ganze auch zu genießen :)

Great, I just uploaded my invincible LO to my computer only to notice that I misspelt the title :( I hope that you will kindly ignore that and I'll try to fix what I can this evening ;)
Invincible is not really a word that suits me! However climbing in a high wire garden requieres some improvidence to enjoy the trip ;)

Heute habe ich mal wieder zwei LO's, die ich gestern Abend gescrappt habe... Die Fotos sind alle auf Katharinas Geburtstag entstanden. Wir waren in Lütjensee im Hochseilgarten und hatten ein paar richtig lustige, aber auch anstrengende Stunden mit anschließendem Picknik am See.

Today I've two new LO's, which I scrapped last night... The pics are all from Katharina's B-day. We celebrated in Lütjensee at the High-Wire Garden and had a few funny, but exhausting hours and a picnic at the lake.

Das erste LO zeigt mich am Ende des Parcours. Ich habe hier auch die aktuelle Scrapping Out Loud Challenge: A tribute to all English teachers benutzt. Man musste ein Zitat als Titel und ansonsten im Journaling nur eine bestimmte Wortart benutzen...

The first LO shows me at the end of the parcours. I integrated this weeks Scrapping Out Loud challenge: A tribute to English teachers in it. We had to use a quote as the title and in addition only one part of speach for the journaling...

Auf diesem LO sind wir beim Picknik am See. Da haben wir richtig geschlemmt und natürlich mit Prosecco auf Katharinas Geburtstag angestossen. Für dieses LO habe ich mich vom Mein Scrapbook-Werkstatt Blog inspirieren lassen. Es gab einen Papierausschnitt zu dem uns etwas einfallen sollte :)

Diese Woche bei Scrapping out Loud müssen wir mal aus der Reihe scrappen... Das heißt Schneeflocken auf einem Frühlingslayout oder Halloween-Spinnen im Sommer :)
In meinem Fall bedeutet das Vögel und Herzen am Strand in Marbella... Sind die beiden nicht süß??? Tara und Ramon frisch verliebt auf Ihrem ersten Urlaub in Spanien.

This week at Scrapping out Loud we have to scrap out of season... this means snow flakes on a spring LO or halloween spiders on a summer one :) In my case birds and hearts on the beach in marbella... Arn't those two cute??? Tara and Ramon newly in love on there first vacation in Spain.

und hier sind noch zwei schnelle LO's die ich heute morgen noch gescrappt habe... Mal wieder von einem unserer Abende am Strand :) Ich liebe Das einfach und hoffe das der Sommer noch einmal zurück kommt... und wir noch mal Zeit für Football, Lagerfeuer und Marshmellows haben ;)

chillin/ grow up LO's

Diesmal hab ich ein ganz entspanntes wochenende hinter mir. Im Prinzip nur Sonne, See und natürlich meine Bücher... Aber morgen gehts wieder zu meinen Eltern und da siehts mit Ruhe net so gut aus ;) Ausserdem werde ich da auch net zum scrappen kommen, habe aber fest vor bei schönem Wetter ein paar Körbe auf der Terasse zu Basteln!

This time I had a really relaxing weekend. Pretty much sun, lake and of course my books... Tomorrow I will head home to my parents home though and thats gonna be a few busy days ;)
Plus I won't have much time to get some scrappin done, but I am planing on making some baskets on the patio- at least if the weather is nice!

Un jetzt zu meinen zwei neuen LO's diesmal bin ich irgendwie net so zufrieden :( aber was soll man machen, manchmal fehlen einfach die Ideen...
Das erste zeigt meine Jungs am Strand, klar das die nie Erwachsen werden :) Deshalb hab ich auch den Titel "grow up" gewählt. Zufällig eine Textstelle aus der dieswöchigen STM Challenge.

The first LO shows my boys at the beach, of course they will never grow up :) This is whyI chose the title, which is part of this weeks STM C hallenge song.

Diese LO zeigt Bilder von dem selben Tag am Strand allerdings etwas später. Und auch hier habe ich Challenges von versch. Blogs eingebaut. Zum Einen die SrappingOutLoud Challenge wo man etwas über einen aktuellen Traum, ein aktuelles Ziel scrappen sollte - In diesem Fall mehr Zeit mit meinen Freunden zu Verbringen- und zum Anderen die Method Playground Challenge. Hier sollte man auf dem LO doodln...

This LO shows pics from the same day at the beach, but a bit later that evening. And of course I tried to incorporate challenges into it. I used the ScrappingOutLoud Challenge where we had to scrap about a current dream or goal- in my case to spend mor quality time with my friends- and I also used the Method Playground one. For that one we were suppose tu do some doodeling...

Ich weiß net ob ihr Sue und Ihren Blog "Just Perspective" kennt?! Sie hat sich diese Woche vorgenommen ganz viel von Ihrem alten Stash zu verbrauchen und hat uns damit jede Menge inspiration und neue Ideen geliefert ;)
Ich habe vorher zum Beispiel meine Papierstreifen noch nie verwoben... aber wie Ihr unten sehen könnt hat es ganz gut geklappt... und heute kam dann noch die Aufgabe auf einem LO etwas zu Wiederholen. Mehr habe ich am Wochenende leider net geschafft :(

I am not sure if you know Sue's "Just Perspective" Blog?! But she had the goal to use lots of her old stash in the last couple of days and she showed lots of inspiration and ideas how to :)
As an example I've never woven my paper stripes before, but as you might can see it worked out pretty good... and her challenge of the day was to use repetition on a LO. Unfortunatly I couldnt work on more LO's :(

Oh ich hatte ein total schönes Wochenende. Am Freitag ging es erstmal zu meiner Familie und bei Kaffee und Kuchen wurde alles neue ausgetauscht :) Abends gings dann mit Freunden essen und später haben wir dann den Film "Fleisch ist mein Gemüse" auf DVD geschaut ( Das einzog net so schöne an meinem WE!!!), war aber trotzdem ein schöner Abend...
Samstag hab ich dann die Sonne genossen und war dann zum Klassentreffen- war erst um fünf zu Hause ohje... und Sonntag war ich seit langem mal wieder im Freibad.
Ich glaub ich brauch Urlaub vom Wochenende ;)
Dafür habe ich auch ein bissl gescrappt und das LO passt perfekt zur aktuellen "Challenge up your life" challenge...

Oh, I had such a fun weekend. First stopp on friday was my parents house and we were chatting and having coffee and some yummy cake ;) Later that day I had some dinner with friends and we watched a real weird German movie on DVD (probably the only bad thing about the weekend) still a nice evening though... I had some time to enjoy the sun on Saturday and at night I had my first class reunion - I didnt get home until five in the morning yikes... finally on sunday i went to a small waterpark. I guess I need a vacation from my weekend ;) I did get some scrapping done as well and the LO fits the new "Challenge up your life" challenge perfectly...

Jetzt haben wir schon fast mitte August und ich habe alles mögliche in den letzten Wochen gemacht, ausser zu scrappen ;) ich war auf dem Sommer-Dom auf Gartenpartys, am See, im Zoo, habe mich mit Freunden zum Essen getroffen oder war auf dem Flohmarkt. Dafür habe ich jetzt wieder viele, viele Fotos zum verarbeiten ;)

It's almost mid of August and I've been doing all kinds of stuff, but scrapping ;) I went to a county fair, to garden-partys, went to a lake, the zoo, the fleemarket or had dinner with friends. Well, at least I have plenty of new pics to work with ;)

Aber heute habe ich tatsächlich zwei LO's geschafft. Das erste zeigt meine Freunde und mich im Frühling...und ich habe ausserdem Verpackungsmaterial für die Scrap your Crap challenge verarbeitet

O.k. bevor ich euch mein neuestes LO zeige muss ich noch kurz über den Blog Scrapping across the universe berichten :) Die Mädels von diesem Blog posten alle zwei Wochen eine neue Challenge rund um das Beatles-Musical "across the universe". Oh ich bin endlich wieder zum scrappen gekommen, freu... Und das obwohl ich eigentlich Zeit hätte haben müssen, da ich die halbe Woche kein Internet hatte. Es ist echt furchtbar wie Abhängig ich mittlerweile von Handy, Laptop und Co bin!
Naja, jetzt funktioniert ja wieder alles reibungslos und ich kann gleich mein neuestes LO posten ;)

Finally I had the chance to get some scrappin done :) Even though I should have have some time, cause my Internet at home didn't work the past couple of days. It's horrible how screwed Iam without my cell, notebook ect.

Beautiful day

This weeks Scrapping the Music song is Beautiful Sunday and I picked the words "beautiful day" for my LO.
And it really shows pictures of a fun and beautiful day at the beach. On one of the first warm days this april, my friends and I went to the Brodtener Ufer, a beach about 40 min from my house.
We played football, had a little BBQ and a Bonfire ;)

Oh and we celebrated Jimmy's Birthday :) He is from North Carolina and unfortunatly had to fly back end of May. We really miss him and hope he comes back soon...

Die erste Aufgabe die ich angegangen bin, ist die von Niki. Sie wollte das wir die Farben rot,blau und weiß benutzen...
The first challenge I worked on was by Niki. She wanted us to use the colours red, blue and white...

Als nächstes kam Sarahs Challenge an die Reihe. Hier musste man ganz einfach mindestens 4 Fotos auf einem LO benutzen...
Next in row was Sarah's challenge. Here we had to use at least 4 pics on a LO...

Die dritte Aufgabe kommt von Diana. Sie hat uns einen sehr coolen Sketch ausgesucht um diesen nachzuscrappen... und viell fällt euch auf das ich diesen Sketch schon für Nikis Challenge benutzt habe ;)

Es ist wieder soweit:) Scrapping the Music- Germany hatte die letzten zwei Wochen wieder einen tollen Song als Inspiration eingestellt : Christina Stürmers An Sommertagen...

Und da ich im Frühjahr mit ein paar Freunden am Brodtener Ufer an der Ostsee war, habe ich mir gleich die Textstelle "mit den Gedanken schon im Sommer" ausgesucht.
Und das waren wir and dem Abend auch auf jeden Fall. Warme 22 Grad, Grillen, Football, später Lagerfeuer und Musik aus dem mitgebrachten Radio...

Und wie es der Zufall so will erfüllt das LO auch noch die Angaben von der 57. random chaos challenge ;) Hier sollte man nämlich blau, braun, ein Tag und Schleifenband benutzen...

I had finally time to finsih another LO today... And it even fits two challenges this time ;)
I took my title "relationships change" from this weeks scrapping the music song "Keep it loose, keep it tight" by Amos Lee. And I guess it's kind of obvious why I chose that pic for that line :)
Good thing Alex girlfriend Adri isn't the jealous typ LOL...
This LO also fits this weeks ScrappersBlog Challenge where we had to use a solo- colour. In my case Pink :) It's the first entry for one of theire challenges.

Sisterhood of Scrap Forum

Vor einigen Monaten habe ich durch Zufall den Sisterhood of Scrap Blog entdeckt und mich gleich dort wohl gefühlt. Hier gibt es alles was das Scrapperherz begehrt:) Montags eine coole Challenge, Dienstags ein toller Tipp oder ein Tutorial, Mittwochs interessante Weblinks, Donnerstags Journalinginspirationen, Freitags etwas zum Thema Fotografie und am Samstag dann eine Sketch- Challenge (alle 2 Woche auch ein Kartensketch).
Seit kurzem haben die "Schwestern" nun auch ein eigenes Forum. Hier findet man noch mehr zum Thema Karten und LO's, mehr Challenges und super liebe Scrapperinnen aus der ganzen Welt. Das Beste aber, ich habe jetzt schon zum 3. Mal ein RAK gewonnen und ich gewinne sonst nie etwas ;)
Da bei den Challenges das Los entscheidet und nicht wie perfekt das LO ist, haben hier auch Anfänger oder net ganz so kreative die Chance etwas zu Gewinnen und wenn das nicht das Mojo fließen lässt dann weiß ich auch nicht ;)

If it's Groovy Blog Hop Challenge

Ich weiß nicht ob ihr davon schon gehört habt, aber die Ladies von If It's Groovy veranstalten eine Blog Hop mit vielen tollen Challenges und Preisen. Man hat noch bis Sonntag abend Zeit bei zig Aufgaben mitzumachen. Das Ganze dreht sich um die 80iger Jahre und die bringen ja bekanntlich besonders viel Spass :)

Als erstes habe ich mich der PrettyInPink Challenge von Marcie gestellt. Hier musste man das Filmposter als Sketch nehmen und ansonsten monochrom Pink scrappen...

Und hier ist mein 2. Beitrag. Diesmal ist die Challenge on Celina. Die Aufgabe war es einen Werbeslogan (auch in abgeänderter Form) auf einem LO zu benutzen. Ich habe mich für "Just for the taste of it" entschieden und daraus: Just for the fun of it gemacht...

Danach hab ich mich an die Zauberwürfel Challenge von Nikki gesetzt. Hier musste man quadratische Fotos benutzen und ausserdem mindestens drei Farben des Würfels im LO benutzen. In meinem Fall rot, gelb, schwarz und weiß...

Das 4. LO ist für Mardis Blog. Hier musste man 3 PP von verschiedenen Herstellern benutzen.
In meinem Fall habe ich etwas aus der Colours unlimited Kollektion von Avec, etwas von der white out collection von We R Memory Keepers und ein PP aus dem memory building kit von Chatter Box genommen ;)

Diesmal musste man bei Deb ganz einfach Papier creppen :) oder doch nicht so einfach? Hab das nämlich vorher noch nie gemacht und deshalb einfach mal klein bzw. kurz angefangen und die Creppfunktion bei meinem Glätteeisen mißbraucht,uuups :) hat aber geklappt...

Its tuesday again and Iam still struggeling with my thesis... Intercultural qualifictaion opportunities in German Universities- Yikes. But I will be done someday ;)

Yikes, this was suppose to be the last warm day for the week. It's June- Summer should be here to stay for a while and not come and go as it pleases :)
Have you checked out this weeks scrapping the music song? It's "You are so beautiful" by Joe Cocker. Perfect song for all mummys and lovers out there, not so perfect for me ;) I gave it a try anyway and just used the word JOY...

Hope you all enjoyed this long and sunny week-end... I certaintly did ;)
I unpacked my scrapping materials again today and got inspired by this weeks Scrap Scheme.
The dominating colors on it were green, white and pink and who doesn't love to mix those ;)
Another inspiration was this weeks Scrapping out loud challenge. We had to layer our embellies for this one- hope it is enough :)

hope you all enjoyed fathersday today. I did ;) sleeping in, doing some sports, cooking my fav lunch, walking with my dog, scrapping and hanging with friends for coffee and homemade blackforest tarte ;)
As I said I was scrapping today- and I used a new technique to make flowers. I learned about it on Pink Paper Peppermints. If you click on the link you will find 31 tipps to craft flowers - great isn't it? I also used lyrics from this weeks Scrapping The Music song " These are the days".

I kind of changed the lines a little bit though. Hope 10.000 Maniacs won't mind that i messed up there work :)

Diese Woche gibt es wieder eine neue Challenge von Scrapping the Music- Germany. Der Song diese Woche war "Du bleibst immer noch du" von Yvonne Catterfeld. Ich habe mir die Textstelle "bleib wie du bist" ausgesucht und meine damit meinen guten Freund Andre.

Er versprüht immer gute Laune und sorgt auf jeder Party für jedemenge Spass ;) So auch auf Bentes Geburtstag an dem diese Bilder entstanden sind.

I can't believe it's May already... The sun is shining, everything is blooming out here- it's great, I love it :)

The 2nd challenge by sisterhood of scrap ( sock hopp crop) was inspired by the Gunther Toody's restaurant in Colorado. The main colors of the menu are red, white, blue and yelllow and we had to use those colors for the challenge.

I love this place, but didnt have the chance to go there last time I was in Northglenn... I have fun memories about it though. Especially one where my friend Kristin celebrated her birthday there. She had to do the chicken dance while wearing a funny painter had... unfortunatly I couldnt scrap that moment for this challenge, but I took pictures of some other friends and me playing Jenga. Not quiet the same, but still a fun night ;)

My friend Lea and I did a trip to the Harz in Germany. It's the only place where we can ski or snowboard in our area... We were pretty lucky cause there was half a meter of fresh snow the night before we got there. We rented slide and made a walk through a winter wonderland. The fresh snow temped me to make a snowangel and we although build a snowman ;)

But this is me: A 26 year old who is still riding on slides, enjoying playgrounds, eating children chocolate and is doing snowangels when ever she wants... and I want all the time.

360 degrees

A few weeks ago my friends Lea, Adriana and I finally had the chance to hang out again. We chose to visit a new club close to my home, the 360 degrees.

Little did we know that there was a highschool party going on over there ;) but since we already drove there and stood in line for a while we decided to go in anyway... My friends noticed too late that they didnt bring there ID's and the guys at the door were pretty strict. We feard that they wouldnt let us pass and were laughing about that scenario. Imagine being 24/28 and being kicked out of line to a Highschool event ;) We had luck though and also everyone else was pretty damn young at the party we had a blast... One of the boys (maybe 18/19) even hit on my friend Lea, how cute is that LOL

Anfang des Jahres waren meine Freundin Adriana und ich zusammen Bummeln in Hildesheim und irgenwie kamen wir auf das Thema Fasching zu sprechen... Also ab in das nächste Kaufhaus zum rumstöbern in der Kostümabteilung :)

I don't know about you, but I didn't know the song "white horse" by Taylor Swift, but I fell in love with it right away when I heard it. It's this weeks challenge song from STM...

This is the chorus...

it's sunday morning in good old cold rainy germany... not too much spring around these days. well, my family is off to a nice restaurant for brunch and iam sitting here and think about what to write about today :) yes, am still sick and cant stand it anymore... but what shall you do if the doctors dont no whats up!

so i keep scrapping and crafting ect... this is what i made for scrapping across the universe. we had to do a lo showing BFF's and i chose my friends Christian and Robert. They are great friends and really do the silliest things together, still they are able to comfort each other in difficult times...

wow, its friday again... and luckily i dont have a doctors appointment today. the marathon wont start until monday again. lets hope they will figure out sth by than!
so while iam waiting i try to so some scrapping and this is what i did for scrapping out loud. this weeks theme was "that's whats friends are for" and the lo shows my friends and me on new years eve. the motto was red light district and most of my lo's will be focusing on that night in the next days :)

this is another lo i made and it shows my fantastic friend tina in a really unusal outfit. we found it in a teenager store at the mall in hamburg and thought that it was perfect for the party ;)

Ok. these are my last Lo's in yellow/ orange for a long while ;) I promise...
This one is for this monday's sisterhood of scrap challenge. We had to use two pics in two different sizes. I used pictures of my brother, since he is singing on the bigger one I wrote "Gesangstalent" ( singing talent) in the circle on the right...

and while I was at it I did another one using this weeks teaching tuesday tipp from the same blog. Since I never had the chance to take a scrapbooking class I love those little tipps and try to use them right away. This time the girls explained how to add scallops on a LO and I used the third way to do so on this and the above LO

The last Lo shows the two Birthday kids from the party I posted so many pictures from... Mone and Torsten celebrated there birthday on the night from the 13th to the 14th december 2008.

Dieses Mal bei Scrapping the Music Germany hieß es "Ich will die Welt verändern". Am Anfang dachte ich dieser Song von Revolverheld ist nichts für mich. Da ich meist chronologisch scrappe sah ich erst keine Chance die passenden Pics zu diesem Text zu finden. Dann bin ich das Ganze mit etwas Ironie angegangen und habe mir die Stelle " es ist ganz egal wie lang das noch geht weil ich weiß wer am Ende noch steht" ausgesucht.

Wow, ich kann nicht glauben das morgen schon wieder Montag ist : ) Das bedeutet das Fasching schon wieder eine ganze Woche zurück liegt. Am Rosenmonatg war ich zusammen mit ein paar Freunden in Hildesheim unterwegs. Ich weiß nicht gerade eine Karnevalshochburg, aber wenn man will kann man überall Fasching feiern- zumindest mit den richtigen Leuten ;)
Mein Kostüm ist zum Glück noch rechtzeitig fertig geworden und so konnte es losgehen. Leider haben wir uns immer noch nicht darauf geeinigt was ich eigentlich dargestellt habe... Ich dachte ja ich gehe als Domteuse, leider waren die Mädels der Meinung das ich eher wie eine Domina aussehe und Alex hat gleich an Stewardess gedacht... Was mich etwas verwirrt hat da ich Fell getragen habe :) Man kann also eher sagen das ich eine Flinstones-Stewardess war die Nebenberuflich als Domteuse gearbeitet hat- den Teil mit der Domina schließe ich jetzt mal gänzlich aus ;)
Begleitet wurde ich an diesem Abend von einem Schotten, einer Elbin, einer Kuh, einer Transvestitin, dem gestiefelten Kater, James Bond, einer Neandertalerin und einem Playboy Bunny... Was für eine Mischung... Kanns net erwarten die Bilder zu verscrappen, aber jetzt erstmal ein paar Originale

its monday again... i cant believe the new week started already! outside itis snowing again, seems like it will never stop :) winter wonderland feeling and that in good old northern germany in february... and what iam off for this week? well, except studying and scrapping i have to sew my carneval costum. my friends and i will be celebrating rosenmontag ( rose-monday), get all dressed up and hopefully have a good time... my mum had some really nice materials and sketches for costumes so i hope it will turn out cute. its going to be some kind of cat style. my best friend is going as "der gestiefelte kater" iam not sure what thats called in english. the cat with boots maybe ;) its a fairytale figure like the cat in shrek LOL

yeah, it's friday again...
and i decided not to work on my final paper today since we had a girlsnight out yesterday. i guess i had one cocktail too many ;)
But i am noot only excited because i dont have to work today, but rather because today is one of our project nights. My friends Tina, Katharina and I try to meet up once a month and do sth special together. pumpkin carving, baking christmas cookies or decorate gingerbread houses...
Today we will make sth which i believe is typically german, but iam not sure. we will bake gingerbread hearts and decorate them ourselves for v-day. As i mentioned before iam not that much into celebrating it, but i like baking and love decorating with little sugar supplies ;)

i love using quotes for my pages, so i was really excited about this challenge ;) this time we had to use one by Paul H. Dunn and i think i found the perfect pic to go with it... it shows two close friends of mine during one of our trips from Hamburg to Bremen. The two have been togehter for a couple of years now and while having there up and downs they are always enjoying live and making the best out of it.

Ich habe mich in den letzten Jahren zu einer regelrecht scrapsüchtigen Person entwickelt ;) und da meine Kamera eigentlich immer dabei ist, habe ich auch genug Material zum verscrapen...
Das Scrapbooking habe ich schon vor etwa 9 Jahren in den USA entdeckt als das Ganze in Deutschland noch gar nicht wirklich bekannt war. Es ist super zu sehen, dass es auch bei uns immer beliebter wird und es kein problem mehr ist die richtigen Materialen zu bekommen!
Besonders freue ich mich über die große Anzahl von Challange Blogs die es mittlerweile gibt, auch wenn ich noch nicht auf so viele deutsche gestoßen bin... Freue mich über jeden Tipp ;)

In meinen Srapbooks versuche ich immer wieder mit neuen Techniken zu arbeiten, auch wenn ich versuche meine Seiten nicht zu überladen. Womit ich aber schon immer arbeite sind Zitate, Sprüche, Weisheiten und Songzeilen... Ich werde hier neben meinen Scrapbookingseiten auch versuchen viele, viele deutsche und englische Quotes zu posten mit denen man fantastisch arbeiten kann!
